It happens to the best author. You stare at the screen, you read and re-read the story over and over. Nothing happens. No ideas. No typing. No inspiration. It is like you're braindead. It happens.
So what to do? Well, everyone has a different way to cope with writer's block, some say you should write every single day, whether you want to or not. I can't say I agree with that, at least not for me. If I force myself to write, I write dribble... horrible, drippy dribble. I find that reading other books that might be in my genre, watching movies, and taking a break in general from the actual writing process is what works best for me. Sometimes just writing something completely different helps. Only you can find what helps to crack that block. Everyone isn't the same. What works for me might not work for you, but it might be worth a shot.
